Endgame Alternate Path

You are back in your flat, where it all started. Make sure you have, the scarf, ghanta, mala and toy car in your kit before you touch the key. Your familiar sack is here and these should be in there. (note you can type  OPEN ALL
and all drawers in kitchen and cupboard will open. they get closed a few times in the game and this command is useful.)

(it's empty when you feel in it)

OPEN CUPBOARD (like the center drawer it's also empty)
FEEL IN LEFT (You find a screwdriver and a knife)
TAKE ALL FROM LEFT
FEEL IN RIGHT (You feel a sheath and a pair of oven gloves)
TAKE ALL FROM RIGHT
PUT GLOVES ON COUNTER
PUT KNIFE IN SHEATH (If you don't you'll get killed if you walk with it)

FEEL SCREWDRIVER (There is a cap that unscrews from the handle

There are 4 blades in the handle a large flathead blade a small flathead blade a large phillips blade a small phillips blade

Examine each screw. You will be told what type of screw that is. One of them is painted and you will find that out when you have to unscrew it and that varies again from game to game.

TAKE (BLADE TYPE)

Use the correct blade on the the correct sized screw or 
GAME OVER!.

UNSCREW TOP RIGHT, TOP LEFT, BOTTOM RIGHT OR BOTTOM LEFT depending on which sized screw you are doing.

One of the four screws is painted.

The game will ask you if you want to try to unscrew the painted screw when you get to it and lets you know that there is a can of turnpentine somewhere in the flat. there is also a cloth and a mask but the game won't tell you that.

UNSCREW (particular screw which is randomized from game to game) 
Game will ask you if you feel lucky or not?

You may get lucky, or your driver will slip and it's game over. However, the game does tell you and give you the chance to say yes or no. Trouble is where and you'll need a painter's mask and a cloth. The turpentine stinks, plus a cloth to rub the stuff on the painted screw to get the paint off.

Now the can the cloth and the mask are in several of the drawers and/or the cupboard.
Feel in each of the kitchen drawers and the cupboard.

FEEL IN (DRAWER or CUPBOARD) till you turn up the trivet.

FEEL STOVE (if you haven't before. There are 4 burners and  dials. 
Only one of the burners is correct.

SET (particular dial to HIGH)

HOLD FRAME OVER (correspondng burner)
 if nothing happens then restore and keep doing this till the game tells you that you loosen the first part of the tape.

Now to find the cord which is in one of 7 places

Once you've felt behind or under one of the above 
now you need to get back to the Living Room

Now you need to find the power box to the flat and restore power.

The breaker box is in one of 3 locations.

Once you've felt behind under or inside one of the above

Return to the Living Room Now that the scanner has power:
